FAQ
How do I book a session with you?
You can easily book a session through my website by filling out the contact form or by emailing me directly. I’ll get back to you with availability and all the details!
When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
For maternity photos, it’s ideal to schedule your session between 27-33 weeks of pregnancy when your belly is beautifully round, but you're still comfortable. If this is your second or third pregnancy, it’s better to plan for a session before 30 weeks.
What should I wear for my maternity or portrait session?
I recommend choosing outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident. If you're unsure, I’m happy to offer guidance on clothing choices based on the session style and location.
What should I bring to my maternity or portrait session?
For a maternity or portrait session, bring any personal items or accessories you'd like to include, such as jewelry, a special outfit, or meaningful keepsakes. It’s also a good idea to bring a bottle of water and a snack if your session is longer than an hour.
Do you provide maternity gowns?
Yes, I provide clothing for the photoshoots. You can view the full selection on my website under the "Client closet" section.
Do you provide any guidance on posing during the studio session?
Absolutely! I will guide you through the entire photoshoot, offering suggestions for poses and helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My goal is to make sure you look and feel your best in every shot.
What locations do you offer for photoshoots?
All sessions are held at my studio at 3902 McKinney St, Houston, TX 77023.
Do you provide makeup and hair services?
I work with a professional makeup artist who can provide both hair and makeup services either at your home or in the studio, depending on the package you choose. Feel free to ask for more details!
How long do the photoshoots last?
Session lengths can vary depending on the type of shoot, but generally, maternity and portrait sessions take about 1-2 hours, and mommy & me sessions can last up to 1 hour.
How soon can I expect to receive my photos after the shoot?
You will receive your edited photos within 6 weeks after the session. All unedited photos will be delivered to you within 1-2 days following the shoot. You’ll have 7 days to select your preferred photos for editing. After this time, any unselected photos will remain unedited. If you need your photos sooner, expedited delivery can be arranged for an additional fee.
Will I get all the original unedited photos?
Yes, you'll receive all the photos from the session. However, please note that the unedited images are resized versions of the originals and may not be suitable for large prints. If you need specific photos in print-quality resolution, feel free to email me, and I'll send you the high-resolution versions!
Do you offer digital photo albums or prints?
I don't print albums or photographs, but I can recommend a trusted service that specializes in high-quality prints and custom photo albums. After your session, I’ll provide you with all the details on how to order prints or albums from this service to ensure you get the best results.
Do you offer mini sessions?
I don't offer mini sessions for any type of photoshoot because I feel that every session deserves enough time to fully capture the moment. Whether it's a portrait, family, or any other shoot, I want to make sure we have plenty of time to get the perfect shots without feeling rushed. This way, I can focus on all the details and give you the best results.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
You may reschedule your session once, free of charge, as long as you give us at least 72 hours' notice. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 21 days of your original appointment. If you cancel less than 72 hours before your session, it will be considered a cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited.
